Jana Kramer is a country singer, songwriter and actor who became a household name in television when she was hired as Alex on One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. Her first few releases as a country singer were featured on episodes of the show, which helped her 2012 eponymous debut album in the top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One by 2015 was followed by Thirty One in 2015 and hit the top ten spot. The decade ended with her appearances in Dancing with the Stars, television shows, and singles that were not album tracks. In 2021, the album The Doubting Voices made its debut. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up in Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to music from the country genre and eventually made the decision to go into a profession in recording. She began her acting career as a teenager in 2002's indie horror film Dead/Undead. After a few guest appearances in All My Children and CSI: NY, she landed a recurring role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the second season 2007,-2008. Kramer played Portia in 90210's 2008-2009 season as well as Brooke on Entourage in 2009. She then starred as Alex Dupre on CW One Tree Hill. Kramer stayed with the cast until the halfway point of the last season in 2012 Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer signed a recording contract for her record label Elektra Records and debuted the modern country song I Won't Stop in a show episode from 2011 on One Tree Hill. The song was later featured on Jana Kramer, her debut album released in 2012. The track ranked fifth in the Billboard Top Country Albums. In order to appeal the large number of fans, Kramer continued to act in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. Kramer released her sophomore album of her own, Thirty One in collaboration with Warner Music Nashville, in October 2015. Thanks to her Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as a duet featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, landing at number three on country's album chart and number ten on the Billboard 200. Starting in September of 2016, her two month stint on 23rd series of Dancing with the Stars ended in a fourth-place finish. That year she also had an adult contemporary hit featuring the song "Feels Like" Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
